Now-a-days Boomerangs are mainly used for sport and amusement. Historically they were used by Aboriginal Tribes as both toys or to hunt flocks of birds by steering them into nets (the birds thought the Boomerangs were hawks). These Boomerangs are Australian made and are handcrafted from local Aussie timbers. They are decorated with Authentic Hand Painted Australian Designs and are available in a variety of colors. We don't recommend that these boomerangs are thrown, these ones should displayed as a treasured piece of art. 'Wanji' means 'handpainted'. Length: 14 Inch (35cm). Display stands can be purchased separately.
